Denver Jackson: UPDATE

For those of you keeping up with the search for Denver Jackson, here are some newly discovered photographs from 1996:

Denver in the Professor's Kitchen

Denver Barbecuing in the Rain.

These photos were shot at the graduation party in May 1996...funny, because I didn't remember him there! I thought he disappeared after not showing at the Pantheon, but that was summer of 1995. That means these are the last known pictures of him.

As always...if you have information regarding Denver Jackson, especially his whereabout, let us know.

UPDATE: I just found an old invitation which reads in part:

GREEK STUDENTS
INVITATION TO A FINAL MEAL BEFORE FINAL EXAMS
You are hereby invited to come to chow
Friday, November 10 [1995]

Denver Jackson, well-known Jeopardy whiz and occasional student of the classics, has agreed to cook most of the food. Angie Pitts, interdepartmentally-renowned chef of continental haute cuisine, will see to the vegetarian fare.

Come and bring a friend if you have one....There's even a possibility that we'll pull out the tattered copies of Doug Parker's pristine, Calvinist translation of the Lysistrata and read a few of the more edifying scenes....

Does anyone remember if this ever actually took place? If so, this means Denver was actually around throughout the 1995/96 school year. How and why have we all forgotten? That's just creepy. Anyway, I don't have any pictures of this event.

It does not appear that Denver attended this, similar event, for which I do have photos:

The Department of Classics Invites You to
a Picnic
with Professor Fred Ahl of Cornell Univerisity
and a reading of his translation of
Seneca's
The Trojan Women
Saturday, April 6 [1996], 3:00 till we're tired....
